eBay Motors Flash Banners

Here is an example of how matching your message to your target can pay off big. Recently we were asked to develop banner creative to complement an existing print campaign targeting automotive enthusiasts. Banners needed to have a similar brand message but be more tactical in nature, driving traffic to eBay Motors Parts and Accessories site.

So, based on eBay’s larger “IT” campaign, Swirl created rich media flash banners that engaged the user to “use your mouse to find it” enabling them to scroll through and click on a number of different popular parts taking them directly to the specific search results page for those parts.

The parts that were shown depended upon the site that the banner was shown on. If the site was all about Harley's, the ads had Harley parts. If the site was about Tuners, the ads had tuner mod parts.

Here are the corresponding print ads. We did the same thing with the ads - and made the parts shown at the bottom match the magazine the ad ran in.

Heald College Print Ads

The challange for Heald was to present the career college as a step above other career colleges, but still generate the response they needed. We took shots from the Television Commercials we created and added the response mechanism at the bottom - using a 'file folder' approach that ads a business feel as well as letting the prospect know they could find more information out on the web site.
